Refund Policy

This page describes how refunds work today. The commercial policy itself is an open owner decision (H3) — the parts below marked [VERIFY] are not settled.

DRAFT — NOT LEGAL ADVICE

This page is a working draft written by the product team, not a lawyer. Items marked [VERIFY] are placeholders the owner must confirm before launch; the wording has not been reviewed for legal sufficiency in any jurisdiction.

1. Subscriptions

Subscriptions renew automatically through Stripe until you cancel. Cancel from the billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

[VERIFY: whether partial periods are refunded, and any cooling-off window.]

[VERIFY] The subscription-refund policy is an open owner decision (H3).

2. One-time purchases (credits and clean export)

Credits are consumed as you generate and export. Once a credit has been spent on a generation that has run, its cost has already been paid to the underlying providers.

[VERIFY: the refund window and the treatment of partially used credit packs.]

3. What the system does automatically

  • A refunded one-time credit purchase revokes the credits that purchase granted (billing/webhook.ts handleChargeRefunded → revokeForRefund).
  • Subscription refunds are recorded but not clawed back automatically: the plan credits already expire at the end of the billing period.
  • Chargebacks and disputes are handled through Stripe; access to paid features can be suspended while a dispute is open.

4. How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address on the account, or use the Stripe billing portal from Settings → Billing. Include the invoice number.
